I'd love to see if the P7M8 design could be cost-effectively replicated using modern manufacturing methods, like polycarbonates, carbon fiber, alloys, etc. Maybe apply some other lessons learned since the striker-fired P7M8 was first designed. Even if the price point approached $1,000, I think it would sell as long as the performance was comparable to the original P7M8.NRA Certified Instructor: Basic Pistol ShootingComment

The reason P7s are cherished by their owners is they are examples of the finest handgun design and manufacturing yet executed. You are correct that my P7s will not be for sale until after my death, if then.Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference. So said somebody but not Mark Twain

I notice that even in free states, the cost of p7 variants don’t differ as much as they do here. Nickel versions of said p7s tack on an additional 10-20% premium as well.

Thanks. My guess would be $3,000-3,500. Assuming both mags were present. I’d take really detailed pictures, including internals and piston and list it on gun broker with a reserve of 3k.
Box, manual, scraper and brush all add to the value. Again jmo but I do follow these little guys pretty closely.
Good luck.

98%+++ condition gun , both mags ( correct for the gun ) , scraper, tool, brush. hmmmm 3000.00-3500.00 sounds a bit high. But I dont follow them much. I thought free state price would be around 2000-2200.00 I also find a P7M8 A LOT more user friendly due to thinner grip.Last edited by ap3572001; 05-06-2018, 9:47 AM.Comment

Ah, very good. His best deal will be looking for a German police trade in P7 (psp) if he can get along with the heal mag release. Good luck.

My absolute gold standard handgun. I will likely never own one, but I truly would love to. There's a little Hans Gruber in all of ussigpic
