    CZ Question???

    Calgunners,

Does anyone know if it's possible to get 10rd CZ mags with extended basepads?

I just jailed an SPo1 and would like to get a magwell, which would make the oem mags too short. I called David at CGW and he said it's not possible. the oem mags have a plastic bottom.

Excuse my ignorance, I'm not big on CZs. I'm looking to make this a project gun.

Thanks and please provide pics or links if you have any.

It might be possible with the MecGar 10 rnd magaines. I can let you know in a day or so. They have dimples on the sides, instead of the plastic lower portion. I used to make mag bottoms years ago. I think it will work.
It's also possible to machine the plastic part, and make an extension. This would cost more.
MecGar magazines have always been good quality, in my experience.
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

Get magazines with extended base pads from Mec-Gar while out of state. Block them to 10 rounds and bring them back.

        Or
A gunsmith/dealer with high-cap permit can do it for you locally.

I have these magazines for my SP-01 and they work well: https://mec-gar.com/store/product_de...0-limited-blue. You should be able to replace the base plates.

The mec-gars are $25 at RifleGear plus S&H.
              (My two s/b delivered today.)

Not too pricey to experiment with one?

Mec-Gar as many have said...they are as good as OEM if not better and everyone makes basepads. Get them from Greg Cote..

From what I understand, you can not even purchase extended basepads if it increases capacity. Some companies won't ship them to CA.
