Finally Bought a 5.7!

I've wanted a FN 5.7 since I first saw one featured on Top Shot, and had the opportunity to shoot a friend's a few years ago. I've been watching all of the for sale ads longingly, and thought about ordering one several times.

I finally had an opportunity arise this morning, when my friend (who is an FFL) called and told me that he had a client with one up for PPT sale. I bounced it by the boss, and she agreed as she knows that I've been wanting one for a long time, so I went over and completed the PPT paperwork this evening.

I'm tickled pink, and giddy as heck, and can't wait for the waiting period to be over.

I had always planned to get dies and add this to my reloading regimen - anyone here doing so?

I know that the primers are a challenge, but when I was last researching the matter it seemed that many were successful.

Any advice is appreciated.

Congratulations on your purchase! Question is that was too easy...What does the boss want that she just let you buy the damn thing?

Congrats on you 5.7.

I know one guy who has had some success reloading the 5.7mm, but he really just does it for fun. The cost of 5.7 ammo has been fairly resonable for the last couple of years (especially the Federal American Eagle).

She has her ulterior motives for sure, and I'm sure they will be made known soon. And you're right... It WAS far too easy - it MUST have been a trap!

I have a 5.7 ps90 and love it. Super fun little bullpup. Still need to get the matching handgun. Enjoy!
