I should note that there are 2 other products out there that appear to do the same thing as the Tracking Point BSD, but DO NOT have an internal disconnect.

Therefore if you hold these down you can continue to fire the weapon in semi auto.

She's a beaut, Clark. Nice build.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Nice option except for the $120 cost.

Guys, stop citing the penal code pretending that you know it! It really does none of you any good and only puts doubt in what you are legally allowed to do!

80% builds are legal. I know because I built two and have approval letters from DOJ.

Currently, you choose your serial number. Afterwards, you’ll need to apply for a number.

Applications to register 80% pistols is taking about 6 months to get replies back from DOJ. I would expect that applications for serial numbers take at least that long, but we won’t know until someone tries it and posted about it.

                When did you build them?

                  What are you talking about?

What approval letter from the doj do you have? A vol reg letter?

FYI I posted the relevant penal code. It wasn’t to discus legality of 80% but to inform that half of a semi auto function does not equal semi auto.

Iv also built numerous 80% lowers both in SSE and SSE2 configuration. I have also volreg’d both types with my own serial. I have also converted them to semi auto (prior to 2017), applied for DOJ supplies serial numbers, and successfully registered them as BBRAW.

Applications to register forearms have fluctuated from as little as 1 week to over 6 months. Applications for doj supplies serial numbers have been reported to be about 1 week to 1 month.

He's talking about California registration I think. As in complying with the new ban.

Seems like it would to me too.

Also if the magazine is fixed you're good even if it were semi-auto. So you could have had them with a bullet button up until the 30th of next month. I believe the new-fangled receiver locks make them compliant as well. But you can't go featureless with them.

Like an idiot, I sold off the two AR Pistols I owned back in the day, then they changed the Single Shot Exemption Thing on me, and now they are changing the law again...and I don't have the garage space for a drill press or CNC machine to make my own. ;(

AR Pistols are worth their weight in Gold in this state.

Why would you need to get rid of folder if you fix the mag?
