Colt Lightning .380

Can anybody help me?
I have a Colt 380 with Lightning 380 stamped on the left side of the slide. It has a Stainless Steel/Teflon finish and came with a Lew Horten Colt Defender .45 with the same finish. family member passed and left to me. It has no mags and I am unsure of which ones it takes (the 380) or of there value. I have called Colt who said that it may be or may not be a factory item but for a fee (of course) they can tell me (bastards), all they would say is they were made in 1996. The Defender has the front site bead missing and even thou they are guerenteed for life when I asked Colt to replace they again want to charge me. I am called the Glock sucker at the range for obvious reasons. Iam looking to sell or trade both of them for a G27 preferred in OD and a G36 in OD. Are they worth it? I dunno if this is help but the Lightning was a lawyer approved renaming of the PocketLite. I dont know if it takes Mustang or Govt magazines without seeing it.

Depending on overall condition, grade of finish, etc.

The Defender is definitely worth a new Glock, for sure. Without a magazine the Lightning is worth a used Glock (at least a used one without a magazine, haha).

Location, condition and if these have boxes and papers would be a good idea to share as well.

Thanks for the info on my firearms. They come with there boxes but no paperwork. The web link didn't have any mention of there value. I would like to find out this info to make sure there would be a fair trade for someone if they were to respond.
P.S. most of my friends use SIG's and SIG sucker dosen't sound as catchy as GLOCK sucker. I where this title with honor but am still hetero.
