I think you contradicted yourself there when you said Glock. Hahahahaha just teasing Robert.

But it also looks like a pain in the rear to clean in all those nooks and crannies in the slide.

Psh! Nothing an ultrasonic cleaner with a little vinegar can't handle.

      note: seriously don't try that!

That said, I agree with Plumbum above; a semi-auto .357 magnum sounds way cool.
The DE is normally 4 pounds empty. This new version is 3 lbs. 2 oz. so it's now a perfect CCW pistol.

It's not a gun for everyone, and I don't think anybody is going to choose any Desert Eagle for their carry piece or action pistol, but man, it's a fun gun to shoot for sure. what is usually revolver rounds in a semi-auto just can't be beat. In .357 it's down right pleasant to shoot...softer than my 9mm even!

The look isn't for everyone, but a lot of us think it's pretty beautiful. That's the beauty of guns though, if one isn't your cup of tea, just move on down the line and buy the next one instead

                    LOL! I saw that thread!

Though in the case of this gun, it would likely result in a very steam-punk/Mad Max look that might be appealing to some people
