What gun shops in the East Bay have a Beretta PX4 type G pistol?

Has anyone seen a Beretta 9mm PX4 type G pistol at a gun shop in the East Bay (Northern California San Fran)?

Which gun shop?

I am thinking about getting one. I don't have a phone to call around. I know Canyon Sports in Martinez use to have them, but I have not been there in a while.

Looking for gun shops from Martinez/Concord/Pleasant Hill to Livermore to Milpitas/Fremont.

I know Target Masters in Miliptas has a few PX4 and even saw a used one for sale. But not sure if it's the G model

You can turn it into a Type G yourself. Took me 30 mins on my first try.

The difference is only spring and a ball bearing.

Not even worth looking for a G when you can convert your F to a G.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the PX4 had that option. It makes it easier to find, plus I have the option of 40S&W with the F type guns. The 40S&W G type PX4 is not on the roster.

I just looked at the Target Masters West website. They make you fill out a "Gun Sale Tracker" form. I don't think I want to deal with that. I will still go and look what they have.

Its somewhere between single action and double action.
The type C was one of the first pistols I shot and it made me buy a type F years later, but the safety levers really turn me off to the type F.
If I could find a type C I would buy it in an instant.

i converted mine from F type to G type - took about 15 minutes taking my time, it was my first attempt at changing out something on the Px4 - if you're going to do it i would recommend either buying the low profile levers, or, the 92f type levers they sale for the Px4 - both good lever upgrades IMHO

stock levers used to gouge the hell out of my thumb - the low profile levers take some getting used to for decocking, but, they're the perfect addition if you have any plans to ever conceal carry with it

video below to give you an idea of how to DIY - **note that it's not necessary to knock out the extractor or it's pin - it's optional you can skip that part
