As much as I love Smith wheelguns, I have no use for their autoloaders - this is just my opinion and should not be taken as a universal truth.

The Glock is one of the best working tools man has yet come up with - no it's not a 1911, you'll never get a 1911 quality trigger in a Glock, but they're affordable and reliable.

Another thing about the Glock, you can get a .22 caliber conversion kit:

That allows you to both practice on the cheap and have two guns in one.

Even if the 22 you're looking at isn't a refurb, it's still a good buy and if you choose, you can send it back to Glock for the full refurb treatment.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Well, I will see how it goes at my class this weekend and go from there. I got a email back concerning the condition of the used Glock 22 and said mechanically they are good, they just have holster wear.

I have not shot a Glock 22, but assume it will be similar to the 23 I shot last week.
