Is it me or is the Springfield XD's slide much taller than the Glocks?
And much heavier

I would like to know if someone could weight the two and get back to us. I have both service and tactical .45 if anyone in Sac. needs to borrow one.

What two do you want weighed?

I have:

XD9 Tactical
XD45 Tactical
Glock 17
Glock 34

No .45acp Glocks or XD Service models, though.

I can say that the XD9 Tactical has more front-end weight than the Glock 34. The XD also has more perceived recoil, but oddly enough I can shoot substantially faster with it.
