I have no intention of registering my AR-15 pistol. Therefore I need to get a mag-lock for it. If any of you been down this road with your pistol and which one did you use? How easy was it to install and how efficient and clean was the install?

No personal experience but I hear the juggernaut tactical hell fighter is good -
I was planning on registering mine just becauSe the bullet button didn't slow me down and left me with decent home defense options. I'll have to research these two setups.

Hogue Freedom fighter is really clean (invisible from outside), and very straightforward to install. There is drilling, it was easy, and the pin can be removed whenever. BAD Quick Release Pin I don't recommend. It doesn't work all that well (doesn't actually "catch" the upper, doesn't even stay in the lower sometimes), you'd be better off with any basic extended takedown pin. I recently got to play with the Juggernaut pin, and it's a winner too (but not their mag lock device). Another member here, protohype I think, has some Juggernaut-like pins coming out soon as well that I'm holding out for maybe instead of the Juggernaut, and might be cheaper.Comment

Keep all the options coming. I've got a frontier armory 9 and 5.55 both with bullet buttons that I haven't decided what to do with yet. My mega arms rifle I'll probably toss a thordsen gen 3 stock on and new muzzle device and go featurelwss. But my AR pistols are different beasts to me. And obviously can't be feautueelless hence the easier acceptance to register.
