While it may not be perfect (not not recommended for carry), the 40s&w magazines seem to work well with 9mm at the range. I have a 40s&w and a 9mm conversion barrel and have not had any issues using 9mm in the 40s&w magazines.
I too had difficulty finding P239 parts 6-8 months ago, so it sounds like things are only worse. Ebay had a few, but they were $50+ for a 9mm back then...

I accumulated a dozen or so 357 sig mags a few years ago for $10 each, might have even been $5. They were on clearance at Turners and found some more in other places. I didn't foresee the discontinuation of the 239. Sad because whenever I see these threads "If you could have only one handgun..." my little 239 357 pops in my mind as a strong contender.

Last time I checked, Wolff doesn't make spare springs for the 239 mags.

I would think they will still be manufacturing magazines for these guns for a few more years at least. Their production may get deprioritized compared to current products and wait times for shipments will increase.

There are still plenty of new mags for 9 and 40 as far as I can tell, just not from Sig's ecommerce site.

357 Sig on the other hand...that's getting rare.

Edit: I spoke too soon. I had checked this not a week or so ago when looking for another 239. Looks like most are sold out now. Bummer.

Edit 2: Many different models' mags are currently out of stock at various retailers, even for current models. When their production schedule gets back around to making magazines, I hope we get a few more. Always worth a few emails to their CS people to let them know there is still a market.

Edit 3: Looks like MecGar has been the mfr for 239 mags for a few years. On Sigtalk they said that once MecGar's current contract expires and isn't renewed that they can see about manufacturing more. I didn't know that these mags were MecGar.

Sorry to see that this gun and replacement magazines are no longer being manufactured. Someone over at the Sig Talk forum said that you can put a standard stock P225A magazine into a P239 and it will work, but you can't reverse it due to the base plate dimensions. Not sure how well this works, but if anyone here has both guns, it might be worth trying?

That's too bad. I do not care for SIGs much, but the P239 is a nice, quality pistol.

I posted in another thread long ago that I thought my 239/357 felt heavier than my compact USP 45 but someone proved me wrong by actually weighing them both fully loaded. There wasn't hardly any difference.
