    CZ P-09 - thoughts?

Ive had a chance to use this gun for the last week or so and I am really liking it alot. I would have never considered it until I had one myself. I dont own one though, yet. Thoughts on this gun? Obviously if I decide to purchase one it would have to be private party transfer, and it may be difficult to find one - but so far, so good

I like mine as well. Had a SP01 before that I sold which was stock. I like the P09 better and that is has customizable grips.

I like my P-07 a lot. However, TRS failure is what keeps my hammer CZ's out of my nightstand

I like my P09. Got a cadet kit for it.

For a duty gun, the lighter weight compared to the SP-01 is a plus. For CCW, the P07 is probably better. For a range toy, I see little benefit over the SP-01, unless you have to have a decocker. For a project gun, the SP-01 offers a lot more potential.

I have never fired, or even held a P09, but owned a P01 and C75BD in the past. Currently own a P10C, and have recently fired a P07 quite a bit. You really cannot go wrong with ANY CZ. That said, out of all of them, I think I prefer the P07 the most (the P10C is right there, though). I believe the P07 and P09 are closely related, the difference being size, primarily, so I think you would be real happy with the FS P09. I say do it!

I have a P-09 with the CGW Pro Package and it’s a pleasure to shoot. As it gets dirty it does get a bit finicky with failures to chamber the next round with cheap bulk ammo.

No experience with the P09, however I do have the 07 & it's been a great gun, eats all ammo, & shoots well, but will drift those sights soon, just like the rest in the stable, as they can all use this message IMO.

P07 owner. Pistol has been flawless from the beginning (love it when there are no hiccups from a band new gun. I only had a few that were absolutely flawless out of the box - 226, P07, PM9). Trigger a bit squishy, standard sight sucks. Other than that, I would recommend.

I wish I could find a P07 at a decent price. I paid $650 with extra mags for my P09 when you could get them under single shot. I should have gotten a P07 at the same time but ran out of money.

Po9 seemed blocky to me and was uncomfortable to shoot. I still prefer the spo1 phantom. The only thing I don't like with the phantom was the decocker only; as I prefer a safety.
