    Warranty Question for SA 1911

I didn't pay this much mind but recently I though I better get this squared away. I bought my SA 1911 about a 7 months ago but I haven't sent the warranty yet to get it all squared away. Been lagging bad.

My question is I remember reading on the manual that if you shoot reloads it voids the warranty. Now I don't reload my own bullets but I buy reloads from Ammo bros. Does this mean my warranty is void or am I good?

you had better come clean with SA, or they will catch you with the reload-detector-cam

Use discretion. While most people here shoot their own reloads, if your gun blows up because of a reload, you can bet that they'll want to see the ammo used. If it's reloads, it'll void your warranty.

However, if you sent your gun it get a part fixed, say your slidestop they won't be able to tell whether your gun was shooting factory or reloaded ammunition and your warranty will most likely still be valid.

What you do is up to you, but no they won't be able to tell short of a blown up gun.

So a reload is a reload, even if I got it from a store?

True but not all reloads are the same. Some are done professionally and some aren't. I've seen lots of problems (including an apparent double charge) with the ones people buy at the gun show that come in the black plastic ammo cans.
