    Getting her a lawnmower for our Anniversary...

    .....didn't seem to work out as planned .I found a Sig 2022 9mm and spent the lawnmower money . Now my question is ,all guns seem to have ammo that they digest better than others.As this is just for killing paper,what does the Sig enjoy? Or what should we avoid?
    Thanks in advance.

    I'm in awe.
    bplvr, YOU are a MAN!
    Everybody, observe closely:
    For their anniversary, bplvr's wife gets a lawnmower.
    bplvr is still alive and married after even just suggesting this.
    Then he got it approved!
    Then he took the lawnmower money and bought a Sig.
    So for their anniversary, bplvr got a Sig.
    The lawn remains unmowed and there is no mower.
    He's shopping for 9mm now.
    Apparently still married, or perhaps the wife does not know about the Sig yet.
    Sooner or later she will go looking for her new lawn mower in the garage...
    Amazing performance.
    Amazing courage.
    Every Man should aspire to display this level of testosterone at least once in his life.

    WW 115g FMJ for initial run in and function check.
    125lrn for plinking. Reload them cheap!

      +1. When I read the title, my first thought was, "man, he's screwed!"

        What a large set of cantaloupes! You could always pick up a huge shipment of ammo and then rapid fire that lawn into submission.

          Either way, nothing quite says Happy Anniversary like a lawnmower or a Sig. You are indeed "The Man" and my new hero!

          And to think that I caught flack for buying my wife tires for Valentines Day last year...

          ...for my truck.

          btw, I'll stop by to say hello and visit this weekend at Del Mar if I don't end up working.

              WHAT !!! That is a great V-Day gift !! When you call her at 1:45am and tell her to come get you at the bar she won't have to worry about getting a flat.......and.... "Oh yea sweetie, you can drive MY truck" !
              She is one lucky woman to have you ,the truck ,and the safe,new tires.
              She can thank you proper for the tires on March 21st,{Steak and Knobber Day }

                My thoughts exactly! Always safety first!

                I'm not familiar with Steak and Knobbers day, but it sounds like Saturday can be a great day after all. Gun show @ Del Mar, steak at the Butcher Shop in Clairemont, and then perhaps a visit to Cheetah's for the "knobbers"?

                Thanks for the ideas bplvr! You are still The Man!

                sorry, got to go now. i didn't realize she was reading over my shoulder until i got smacked in the back of the head.

                  I took your advise on the ammo and got 300 rnds of WW 115 Win-Clean for the breakin. When wifey got home last night I didn't mention where I got the money I just greeted her with "Congratulations ,You' re a new Mommie! I bought us a Sig 9mm today". The first thing she said was ,"Did you get ammo for it?". This one is a keeper . {her Wedding Portrait is below}
