When going through DROS on my Glock 19.5 that the frame had been beveled to match the slide. I'm really surprised how quickly Glock jumped on this based on people's complaints. It didn't necessarily bother me as much as some that the frame didn't match before, but now that I've seen them both the beveled frame is blatantly better looking, haha.

Those don't have a lot of value. The John Wayne set does though. I have the complete set for sale, including the actual COA. WILL NOT SEPARATE!!
I have them posted for $10K + shipping, but I may consider a partial trade for a couple of Gen 5 Glocks.
My PM box should start going off any minute now...Comment

I doubt it was people's complaints although they helped them realize the issue. I suspect a big FUBAR internally where they released the slide with the changed bevel together with the frame in an earlier version without the bevel. Bad final quality validation where both parts worked, they just weren't appropriately judged together. When going through DROS on my Glock 19.5 that the frame had been beveled to match the slide. The complaints came in and a big "doh!" emanated from Glock HQ.
So they had the final part designed, they just screwed up and didn't include it in the final bill of materials (bom). Fairly common issue but this one was more obvious to customers, thus embarrassing.BillComment
