CZ pistol locator...

I see that there is a .45acp CZ 97B on the roster but when I try to use Davidson's gun finder tool it says they are not allowed in my state (CA). Does anybody know of dealers in socal that carry CZ pistols? When I bought a CZ 75TS I remember talking to a calgunner that had a lot of CZ pistols and he mentioned an FFL that stocked them. I wish I could remember what he told me, lol.

I was in Smokin barrel in Simi Valley on Friday and they had a Rami, Sp01, and a 75 b I think.

Discount gun mart Morena and Santee, Riflegear, and Honeybadger all have the 97b in stock. Several other stores like Gunfighter Tactical can obtain them via area distributors if you inquire.

I saw one at Oak Tree a week ago. There are two versions of the 97B sold new with 10 round mags. CZ sells the older of the two for the California market.

CZ 97B

Older model still produced for California market. From the CZ catalog:

"A special version of the 97 B is specifically
made for the California market, so check
with your local CZ-USA Authorized Dealer
for availability. SKU of this pistol is 01401."

Unfortunately, "special" version means old version.

With over 130 trade ratings and being in Orange County, have you heard of Rifle gear? Look up on their site. It is almost always in stock and you can check the sku# for the Calif model as well.

What can I say, I usually buy off list stuff. I've even been in Riflegear recently doing a transfer but I didn't look at what they had. I just started looking at what CZ has to offer and happen to like .45acp. Most of the CA approved stuff hasn't interested me for a long time.
