    Budget RDS for pistol

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

If you shoot a lot, save up for a Trijicon RMR. Having used many different types on a pistol, they are the only ones that hold up over extended use.

If you shoot less than 1000 rounds a year from that gun, a budget red dot is fine

I shoot more than 1k! I thought these things were pretty tough. Might have to wait for these things to develop a bit more

I agree on the Trijicon. Have several on pistols and they have been flawless. Shop around. I never paid more than $300 for one. Always buy them from Calgunners and all three have been mounted but never used
