Goods, bads? The seller hates it, but I shoot it very well, almost as good as my old 26. And that's only running it a few times.

I liked mine but ended up selling it to a friend after switching to the LCP since I pocket carry mostly. The friend I sold it to loves it. I would have kept it as well but already have a 9mm Sig as another ccw gun.

I pocket my 642 and occasionally the 26, the LC9 would be pocket also.

I IWB the SA, but it's heavy compared to the other two. I know the trigger is LONG...did I mention the trigger pull is LONG? But shooting the 642 I'm maybe more used to it.

If you shoot it very well then your question has been answered.

I own and love my LC9s but it has a better trigger than the original LC9. The trigger on those was the reason that many people disliked them.

One thing to consider........Does your IA allow mods such as a better trigger if you wish? If so, you could improve the trigger to make it even better than before.

I've got an LC9s on my permit and I like it (my primary is a Sig) - but as long as you like it and shoot well as has been stated - then go for it.
(I like the narrow profile - I'm tall but skinny so the slim profile makes it easier to disappear when I carry it)

I own both the LCR and original LC9 in 9mm. Both are and handful of whoop-*****. However, if you are not used to shooting double action the heavy trigger pulls can be a problem for some people.

Thanks, no issues for me, but then again I do practice often. I also like the slimness, anyone have any ammo issues? Currently only ran FMJs through it.

If you shoot it well, buy it. I put in a Galloway trigger, had front sight pinned, only ran Italian mags, and cerakoted slide. Hated the safety.

Should have picked up a lc9s or pro model before SSE ended.

My Father in law has an original LC9 and everyone that fired it myself included hated the trigger, longest pull I've ever felt. I ended up putting the galloway precision mod in and it helped a lot but its still not my favorite gun. The LC9S is supposed to have a great trigger from what I hear. If you can get it for a great price why not, especially if you tried it and like it. And like Title guy said be sure you know the rules on modifications with your IA. I know mine won't allow it.

I'm doing quite well with the factory trigger long pull, and honestly wouldn't have an issue with that as I seem to have adapted fairly well from gun to gun...but I'll double check as obviously the trigger in the first generations isn't something too many like, myself included, but it's not a major issue and I'd trade it on my ccw form my SA.

LC9s and similar - sure. The trigger is way better than on LC9. LC9 - I really didn't like the trigger.

Big Yea and thumbs up for the LC9s. Great pistol. I loved mine and only sold it as we will be moving out of state soon and I can buy another at less than I originally paid for mine at the end of SSE.

Uber concealable, highly reliable, very accurate for its size. Slightly high bore axis is the only downsize, but still controllable.

Ruger LC9 was discontinued and replaced with the LC9S.

The LC9S is a vast improvement over the LC9.
