    CZ 75 Compacts' 2 Models

    1190

This model's front under the barrel doesn't offer the opportunity for any attachment,

    1199

This model does, but for the life of me I can't find one that exists? Dealers I visited had the 1190 at a fair price even, but I don't want to settle. Are there really 1199 models out there?

I'm giving up on a commander sized 9mm its just not within my budget. The 1199 should be.

CZ does this NATO spec model in batches. There are a few in the classifieds if you search for P-01.

The buds link 1199 doesn't show the same rear site that everyone seems to have here in CA? I don't care for the high profile adjustable site as much as I like the standard site on what seems like a variation to the gun. Thanks for the P-01 search hint

The 1190 is the standard steel frame 75 Compact. 1199 is the Alloy framed P01. they're both on the roster and just a matter of finding a LGS that has them in stock. Or you can find them in the classifieds here from time to time.

Now I know why I post here

Because I learned something I didn't pick up on that. I thought they were both steel frames. Thanks,

Correct. I've been wishing for years they would come out with an all steel compact CZ with a rail.

They did. CZ SKU 99041 and 99021.

Unfortunately, they are both safety only and of course not on the CA roster.

Did these just come out??? Sucks not on CA roster, but doesn't surprise me.

Guns Direct in Burbank Ca. has them in stock a fair majority of the time.

It's important to note that the "Compact" noted is the steel frame and has a manual safety and was meant to be carried "Cocked and Locked" (CZ 75 Compact (Black) 01190 / Steel). The 75D Compact PCR is the aluminum framed decocker version (CZ 75 D (Black) 01194 / Alloy).

The P-01 noted is aluminum frame with decocker (CZ 75 P-01 01199 / Steel, Alloy). The "NATO" spec is no longer applicable since CZ changed 1 spring and out of NATO testing because of it. Kind of like the stupid Roster here.

If you want a rail, get the P-01. If not, then get the PCR or Compact depending if you want a manual safety (SAO) v. decocker (DA/SA) or steel v alumunium.
