The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.

Someone else in the P365 FB group said his barrel is getting peened with use.

Interestingly, whereas Sig used to send front sight replacements to those early P365 owners whose tritium failed, now they want the entire gun to be sent back.

Now I'm hoping my turn would come up later than earlier lol

It’s not a good idea buying the first/small batch production of a new gun. Look at the MPX, MCX, P320 and the various Sig carbines.

At this point I prefer that mine comes in later than earlier. I hope to hear that the barrel peening goes away after the chamfering Sig added.

This gun is going to be as common as potato chips.

It looks as though the p365 Sigs that are now being sold, as well as those in the first batch that were returned for problems, mainly peening and dead front night sights, are running well.

They had issues with the p938 when they came out too. I took two years for that to be ironed out.

I received my P365 a few weeks ago. It is one of the original shipments with siglite night sights and none of the alterations mentioned above. First range session I shot 250 rounds of various ball and carry ammo with zero problems. The only issue I noticed upon cleaning and inspecting it after the range was the dead front sight. A quick call to Sig customer service and the xray sights will be here Saturday.

Every time I pick it up it is hard to comprehend how it can be so small and still contain 10+1 rounds of 9mm. It carries like a dream and the biggest problem I've had so far is finding a 12 round magazine and holster availability. I've ordered three different holsters, but so far the only one I've received is from Harry's Holsters. I like it so much I'll probably order a second one once the demand dies down a little.

I live near you and have a sight tool if you need some help swapping that out in exchange for letting me handle the P365

Here's a review that came online yesterday...

In our Sig P365 review, Ben puts it through the rigger and gives you his usual highly detailed review of this highly anticipated "every day / 365 a year" concealed carry 9mm. The main feature the P365 has over competitors is its carrying capacity which is 10 or 12 rounds. Check out the rest of the review here.

                          from the review...

" I was expecting heavy felt recoil from this light sub-compact, short 3-inch barreled handgun, and its micro-compact frame. But, the recoil while somewhat stout, was easily handled with a very tight grip and a locked wrist. My wife with her diminished hand strength was able to control it well. "
