AR Pistol - Register or Convert to Fixed Magazine Configuration

Need to make sure I'm doing the right thing, is it best to register the AR Pistol or Convert to Fixed Magazine Configuration?

I went fixed mag as registering still requires bb and you can't give or sell your weapon in California once registered.

If you went the Fixed Magazine Configuration, why did you have to register?

Did NOT register...AR Maglock on all my weapons...can't stand featureless.

If I go the AR Maglock route and eventually (down the road) move to another state that is "free" can I convert back to a normal AR pistol configuration?

I also have a AK47 Yugo Zastava pistol, Can this be converted to a fixed magazine, so I don't have to register?

Make it single shot. Disarm the piston.
