    G17 and 22 slides differences

On stripped slides, is the only difference the diameter of the hole for the barrel?

Just bought brownells g17 rmr cut slide for my g22 and wanted to run 40 cal. Could I get it drilled out a little to turn it into a g22 slide?

    Thanks

Different breechface, if the 34 vs. 35 slide is any indicator, the 22 slide is probably heavier as well.

I don't have a G22 to weigh, so I'm just speculating, but I know the G35 slide is heavier than the G34 slide.

To hire a machinist to mill 1mm makes no sense... assuming everything else was the same

If you are going to take a dremel to the slide and do a DIY, please shoot video and upload it to the web

You are right on the breechface. Just tried it with a couple dummy rounds. I do have a 9mm conversion barrel I could use
