Is the CZ Model 75 9mm CA Approved?

Good Morning Everyone,

I am interested in purchasing a CZ Model 75 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol (4.4" barrel); IT IS NOT A 75 B. This was the first time I ever saw one. It appears to be the precursor to the Model 75 B, the look is simpler; less features?

As usual, it does not appear to be on the CA DOJ Handgun Roster. Will my hopes and dreams be dashed once again? Any assistance is appreciated.

It would need to be PPT with a CA resident if it's not on the roster.

Thanks, I needed the voice of reason. I tend to lock him up and throw away the key. Also, I found a CZ forum that explained the history of the CZ 75 pre B or transitional model. A member recommended not to get the CZ 75 in the 1977-1985 range, difficulty and getting parts and magazines.

I will concentrate my efforts in securing a CZ-75 B.

Are you in SoCal? As of last Saturday, Royal Loan in San Diego has a brand new CZ-75BD on the shelf.

do yourself a favor and check out the CZ P-01. that's the ticket and it is on the approved list.

You will be happy with any of the new CZ's. I love my CZ75B 9mm and just got a .22 Kadet Kit for it. Its awesome. They are such solid feeling, well made guns.

I am trying to be good and ya'll are taking me into the valley of continuous gun purchases! I have to win more cases to get more spendin' money. Thanks for all of the advice. I will check out of the recommended pistols today.

I want to make sure you are referring to the P-01 and not the SP-01. I understand that the P-01 is NATO certified.
