One would think that if i am paying 100% markup, that these sellers would take the time to block a magazine. Really what is the cost of a wooden dowel and some epoxy? It really can't be $500, i.e. Gen 5 Glocks. $1000 for a Gen5 already hurts, but cmon after buying magazines and having them blocked is close to $1100. I hope that all these greedy re-selling LEO's, get stuck with these Glocks just like all these people who were stuck with a surplus amount of AR's.

I have even offered to block them prior to the sale myself in front of the sellers. And to even add to the fact my FFL will block mags for a small fee and cost of parts, even less if i provide the parts.

Anyone have any input of why an extra $500 would warrant laziness and greed?? Hahah Well obviously supply and demand but lets ignore that.

Maybe those sellers bought 2 of those guns and wanted to keep the extra mags and sell the one gun so he can get the other for free.

We all know these flippers will never change, and Supply and Demand will always be a part of our forum. Stop taking the post so seriously, i just wanted to know if anyone was going to block some magazines for me.

This. Plus if you are willing to spend (waste) 1000 or more on a Glock, you probably have the financial ability to buy some mags.

Good point OP. I smirk and laugh to myself every time a 100% mark up gun states no mags. A lot of sellers are unaware that some FFL's will allow you to walk in with hi cap mags and block them for the seller, but other FFL's won't (like Rifle Gear). Or as stated above, good quality mag blocks are about $7 each shipped and made specifically for the type of mag. I've sold plenty of desired off roster guns and none were sold without mags, but that's me.

If the gun has been sold don't both you and the seller have a problem if the magazines weren't blocked before the sale. Same for the FFL who did that PPT.

Mags have nothing to do with the DROS of a firearm and it's none of the FFL's business what the buyer/seller agree to as far as mags go. Now if you walk into an FFL who doesn't block hi cap mags, they will just tell you to remove the mag from their store and then continue the DROS paper work.

As for those who are in the business of selling a $500 gun for $1000 and do not even take 5 minutes to block the mags, greedy and lazy bastages!.

Most opinions will certainly vary from mine.

The point of selling off rosters at a yuuuge profit is to do exactly that, profit. So, offer the seller an extra amount if you want the mags, even if you block and epoxy them in front of him. He is likely able to get more, but he needs an incentive.
