    HK45C

I changed the back strap to the flatter one last night and my shooting improved dramatically. I had only shot this pistol once and was disappointed that I couldn't shoot it very well. I'm glad I took the time to try it again. I notice the trigger reset is different than my other pistols and will take some practice. I love the controls. I haven't shot the full size HK45 but I have small hands and this one seems pretty close to ideal. It was a deal I couldn't pass up even though I think I'm more interested in target type pistols lately. With my vision getting worse I'll probably lean towards 1911's with optics.

Congrats on the purchase and glad to hear about the improvement. Where did you pick up the HK45c? I'd love to get my hands on one

Congratulations! I am also glad to hear that the interchangeable backstrap feature has helped. That's why it's there.

Here are photos of one of mine:

Note that the slim slide stop levers are installed.

As far as I know unless you are law enforcement you just have to pay a premium for one that's already in California. Life is short and high quality firearms are probably going to increase in value as our paper money shrinks with the inflation that I believe is inevitable.
