How often do you clean Pistol Magazines?

How often do you take apart and clean pistol mags? How about Magazines in general?

I clean mine about every other time I go to the range. I put a lot of rounds through my Glock 22 though. I go through about 250 rounds at a time. It probably isn't necessary to clean them even that much, but I like to know that there is no chance of dirt in there.
Don't forget who we're up against. We shouldn't be our own worst enemy.

You mean you're supposed to clean those too Man I have enough work just cleaning all the guns I take out shooting.

Seriously, I only clean them If I start having feeding issues

If i know im going ot a big shoot, competition or desert, ill clean them... I'll also clean them if ive dropped them in dirt.. If they're prone to rusting, then I'll do a quick wipe down with a rag...

Otherwise...i wont clean them.. i've gone 1000's of rounds without even bothering to check... If they load fine.. then by my standard..they're fine..

I only clean them when I they are very grimy looking. Most mags can go thousands of rounds without a clean. I only clean them so I don't get my hands dirty when I handle them

I clean my 1911 mags whenecer i detail strip my 1911, I have all the stuff out so why not clean them. 1911 mags are easy to take apart anyhow. Now .22 mags are diffrent, I cant recall ever cleaning my 10/22 or 22/45 mags.

I thought magazines are like women; you can use them as you see fit, neglect them the rest of the time, and you're only really in trouble when they starting *****ing and then you just give them a little attention and you are fine once again.

When the pages stick together, I just toss them.......Opps, sorry. Wrong kind of mags

I have tens of thousands of rounds through my 1911 mags and the only thing I've ever done is replaced cracked basepads, that's it. Of course, now I've just jinxed myself and at the next match, they will all go Tango Uniform

Clean them about twice a year. Special cleanup happen only if they get dropped in the dirt.
