Ruger GP100 Accuracy Report

I posted Dan Wesson 715 movie before

shooting half steel 100 yard 11/18, I thought Dan Wesson (or CZ) has great accuracy.

But I also like GP100 and want to get more accuracy from Ruger
so tried other bullet / load data. (Hornady, Speer, Sierra)

with Hornady XTP 140 + H110 18.4, I could hit 100 yard half Ram 8/12... about same accuracy as Dan Wesson, as far as I shoot.

Maybe my off hand / open sight accuracy limit is 7.5MOA now, and I can say Ruger GP100 can compete with Dan Wesson 715 at this accuracy level.

that's great to hear what i could expect out of my Ruger GP100 - unfortunately, if there are any steel targets getting hit at 100 yards with my revolver i won't be the one using it

yea I'm afraid my eyes go bad year after year
some people can get good sight picture(near front sight + far target) with Pinhole glasses / stenopeic glasses and weaker eyeglasses combination.
I go eye doctor every 3 months to take care my eyes, most important body parts for shooting!
