Did you remember to take the covers off of both tubes and turn both of them on?

Just kidding.... I'd try to go through the local FFL first and see what he says about contacting his distributor. I'd do that before seeing if AG will send a rear sight and figure how to get it removed and new one pushed.

No it is not. And call Glock not Ameriglo, if these were the sights shipped by Glock. Glock should fix, if they are the factory Bold sights supplied by Ameriglo.

I just spoke to Keith at Ameriglo. They’re going to send me a replacement. So it’s all good! I needed to get some new sights put on my hi power so this will go to the gunsmith as well.

For clarification, there are three pre-installed sight options for the G17Gen5.
-polymer fixed sights
-Glock night sights
-Ameriglo night sights

Sometimes the lamps on a new gun are bad upon delivery.
From this thread, I couldn't tell if this G17gen5 actually had Glock night sights (GNS) installed instead of the Ameriglo brand (the Ameriglo brand sights may have different heights, front & rear). I'll have to follow this thread to see the final outcome.

I installed the new Gen 5 'Agent' sights on my G17 and G19 Gen 5. They are the FBI contract sights from Ameriglo, Brownells just started shipping them.
