Magazines interchangeable?

Hello to all,

I just purchased a new S & W "SD9VE" with a stainless slide for my collection and was wondering if the mazazines for this pistol will interchange with my older model "Sigma" in 9mm???

yes, they are interchangeable, base plates are the only difference.

Pic has a sigma mag in the SD, with the SD original mag to the right.

Lol, hey now, I bet those vintage gray framed first gen Sigmas will be all the rage one day! And who’s laughing now when EVERYONE puts out a clone of the old SW380 they all poo-poo’d! (I still don’t know why the clip-in magazine never took off?)
