Most Popular Off-Roster Handgun in CA

In your opinion, what is the most popular off-roster handgun you can legally possess in CA? If you had the ability to own one off-roster handgun, what would it be and why? For me it is the Glock 43. The reason being I like compactness of the gun. Not only the top to bottom height of the gun, but also the side to side width.

I really have been impressed with the G43 (even at 50 yards), it's been great owning it, even better carrying it.

For me the the most sought after off roster gun has been sig P226 legion SAO(like unicorn)and DA/SA , beretta M9A3(like a unicorn), Springfield MC Operator new version, M&P M2.0, P227 tacops, and anticipating “CZC AO1 “ when they release them.....

So it sounds like your question is - "which off-roster gun has seen the most sales in CA since the roster began?"

I have no idea where to get that data, but I think the true answer might surprise a lot of people.

If you are asking what is the most "recently" popular, well that's different question.

Legally possessing an off roster handgun isn't the issue, getting it at a realistic price is.

The most popular? Probably some form of glock like a gen4 19 or the 43..

The one I want? Probably a CZ shadow 2..

Glock 43 for CCW guys
CZ Shadow 2 for USPSA production shooters
STI/SVI 2011 (and variants of the 2011) for USPSA Limited and Open shooters

Of course Gen5 Glocks for da bois
