    walther PP

    does somebody have a link to German Walther PP 7.65 / 32 acp manufacturing years. the gun was made in the Ulm factory.
    i appreciate the help. the number is in the lower 400000s.

    According to this document I found on Walther Forums for postwar PP in 7.65mm, it would be 1970 - 1971. Not C&R for a few more years yet. The French made PP and PPK marked 'Manhurin' are all C&R in all calibers, per the ATF list.

        turns out this one was made for the Bavarian Police,tested and proofmarkt near Ulm in 1974. later H&K picked it up and shipped it to the U.S.I suspect that part of the P department traded out for newer H&Ks and these were part of the deal. remaining question is how H&K brought them over here since Interarms was supposedly the sole importer for these.
        shoots like a charm.

          Interesting! I have one that is marked by / belonged to the Bremerhaven Polizei and no import marks, mfg ~1965. I've been wondering how it got here...
