Glock fixes Gen5 frame to match slide

In what seems to be a sudden epiphany of the most fundamental design tenets, it seems Glock has come to their senses and realizes a matching frame and slide is important in the modern day marketplace:

On the left is an early release Gen5, and on the right is a picture of what more recent buyers are getting.

I can see it in the marketplace now...

    $1,100 for Gen 5.1

    $1,500 for Gen 5.2

    HA!

LOL there is nothing that can be done to make a Glock look good. Plain and simple.

No, no, the 5.1 will be rarer than the 5.2 and worth $2000!
I dreamed of owning a (insert off roster gun here)...

Oh yeah....then the earth splits open with me on one side and the (off roster gun) on the other. Then appeared a large red-glowing pit with gavin newscum, diane frankenstein and governor "brown the drain" at the bottom of it, waving their pitchforks at me.

Also, why anyone would take a gen 5 over a 4 or 3 is beyond me.

Yeah, the sights are nice. But the trigger bar and internals will flake after a thousand+ rounds. Which is not good, they're obviously plated for a reason.

Glock needs to put some decent metal sights on their guns from the factory!!

Will this knock it off the roster?

All jokes aside, i bet its super easy to reholster now that the whole front is beveled.
Shame they havent been beveled like that all along.

Seriously, they are one of the only companies to put crap sights on guns while everyone else uses nice metal ones that fit tight.

Every glock that I've left the OEM sights on, the first time you bump them the rear sight will drift out and you gotta push it back in with your thumb.

I actually like the factory sights over anything else since I know how to use them and they are simple. But they literally fall off the gun...
