Cifaldi does great work with decent turn around time:

I recently sent my gun out to Ed Brown's custom shop and will also stop by Mars Armament. I'll let you know how those 2 work out.

What kind of work do you need done?

Trigger job - every gunsmith does it differently. Do you want a crisp break or a smooth rolling break? How bad is your current trigger?

A $170 kit from cylinder and slide can get you within 80% of the best feeling trigger in the world.

Check out the gun - look for someone that offers a reliability package. It will generally include checking headspace on barrel, feed ramp angle/space, extractor hook dimensions and tension, etc.

How long are you willing to wait? The fastest turn around in the industry is probably Ed Brown, but I have no idea how their work is, yet.

Your list of desired mods is pretty short, so I would keep it local and go with previous suggestions.
