    Swapping uppers on a glock

The barrel has the serial number on it. I own a Glock 30sf if I wanted to put the 10mm slide and barel along with the spring, the frame and barrel serial numbers dont match. Is that legal?

Yes sir. The frame is the actual firearm. You can treat all the other parts like lego's.

Same as switching uppers on an AR platform.

Pretty common for G22/G23 owners to buy a 9mm barrel and run both .40 and 9mm out of one gun. 👍

No problem w/ legal issues, but check how the gun functions. Unsure if .45 and 10mm have different or same ejectors.

There is 1.4 mm difference in case rim diameter between 45ACP and 10mm. The ejector is ~4 mm in the spent cartridge path, at least in my G41 but it's always nice to be backed up by empirical observation so even after all the measurements it's best to go out and shoot it.[emoji38]

So far no issues going back and forth between my G41, G21 and G40 MOS uppers over the same G41 frame. Even the 22 conversion worked flawlessly but it's a good thing that the rimfire upper has it's own ejector built into the slide.[emoji16]

Good luck, be safe and have fun!
