Shooting someone in the chest is better then shooting someone in the arm, keep the cz and dump the other two.

I keep a glock 17L on my nightstand. It holds a lot of bullets and I can hit a quarter from 10 yards, good enough for me if I’m feeling the rush and need to take care of business.

Stop overthinking it and just keep the one you shoot best. They're all regular pistols.

You love all three. Why the heck would you sell any of them? Keep all three, enjoy shooting them, and rotate them for HD.

SP-01 because of that. It is the only gun of the three that isn't CA neutered and has night sights.

Well, normally I would say whichever is cheapest to replace, as you’re not likely to see it for a very long time if you end up using it in a defensive situation. Buuuuuuut since you’re selling two of the three it doesn’t really matter.

P226 for being an indescriminate ammo guzzler. My CZ’s and Beretta have both choked on different brands.

i'd keep the Sig.

i'm from the "if you pull the trigger, the gun should fire" crowd.

in time, you can probably learn to shoot the sig just as well, or better, despite the grip not being as close to the barrel axis.
i use a strong push/pull, and shoot my Sigs better than the CZs i've tried, but i did notice the muzzle doesn't want to rise as much.

Get a cheap striker fired pistol for HD like a Glock or XD or a revolver. Realistically, in an HD type scenario you should be at point blank range if you have to shoot to kill otherwise you could be facing murder charges. And you probably wont be aiming but more like pointing or pressing the firearm against the attacker for a contact shot. It will most likely be up close and very personal.

Choosing a gun based on how well you make groups at 15 or 25 yds will be rather moot in an HD situation where the shot will either be spitting distance or a contact shot (i.e. youre on the ground and the attacker is on top of you). In that case all three of your guns will get the job done.

You need 2 in your night-stand for HD. Nothing scares away baddies like dual-wielding handguns. 2 bright weaponlights will also disorient the invader and make them think there are 2 people (2 targets) attacking them.

Sell the 226 and you can afford to buy a Glock 17 and a Glock 19 to replace it.

If you are insistent on those three, SP-01. It's the heaviest and has factory night sights.

If you REALLY do not want the LCI you can buy an exchange kit from sig to swap out.

For the curious among you (with apologies for the boring truth):

The short answer to the question, "Why sell?" is that my curiosity is satisfied.

The explanation: I began a torrid love affair with pistols in September last year. I fired every 9mm and .45 ACP pistol that my local ranges had available for rent (the only calibers that interested me). The pistols I wanted to shoot that the ranges didn't have, I purchased.

Fifteen months and 33 pistols later, I have come to realize a few things. 1) I am no longer curious about pistols that I haven't shot (since shooting 33 different pistols of my own has given me a pretty damn good idea of what to expect); B) that's a helluva lot of pistols that do basically the same thing; 3) I have tens of thousands of dollars tied up in a hobby that I still enjoy but no longer excites me.

Every one of my pistols is enjoyable. But when I consider the entire collection, I really begin to feel that the difference between what one can do versus another is really pretty insignificant. As I sometimes do in situations like this, I imagine the following scenario:

It's like "Let's Make A Deal," except I know what's behind the curtain. I decide whether I would rather have three superb pistols, or one of those pistols and the cash value of the other two.

At this point in the firearms love affair, I have chosen to have one pistol and the cash. I am just looking here for advice from the audience on which of the three pistols to keep.

In the big picture (the entire collection), I have decided to cash out. I will keep one "home defense" pistol, one "carry pistol," and two guns I purchased thirty years ago that have sentimental value.

And just in case "Which two guns have sentimental value" becomes the burning question now that I have answered the "Why sell" question: I am keeping a well-loved but perfectly functioning 1976 Smith & Wesson Model 28 Highway Patrolman .357 Magnum (my only revolver), and a mint 1979 Walther PPK/S West German .380 ACP in its original box with the test target, manual, and two magazines.

As for being a collector in Kommiefornia and selling 31 pistols, I'll simply ask five buyers to purchase six pistols each, and see what happens...
