Hudson H9 or Sig P210?

I stopped by one of my LGS today and they had the new Sig Sauer P210 Target in stock. Of course I had to handle it and let me tell you it felt amazing in my hand. It was nice and tight in the right places and the trigger was crisp like a 1911 with a trigger job. I almost purchased it on the spot and went as far as to call my credit card company to tell them I was going to make a large purchase. Then I started thinking about the Hudson H9 that I handled last weekend the range I am a member at. The Hudson felt really good too and the trigger was about the same.

I have not shoot either one, but I did shoot a Swiss made P210 several years ago that was truly amazing and I plan to rent the Hudson this weekend. Which brings me to my question. Would you rather have a P210 of H9 if you could purchase one?

Of the two..I wanted the Hudson H9 UNTIL I watched YouTube video of Jeremy S. Torture tests and another YouTuber showing the recoil spring coming loose...recoil spring is poorly thought out.

Sig P210 American Target got rave reviews on the sig forums . And those who praised it are those that own German master shop P210 and X5/X6.

Well since you are in GA, a free state and most people on Cal Guns are in CA where we have roster. We have no freaking ideal what a H9 is except when we go to Las Vegas.

I figured either we're not available to Californians but my question was more of an opinion and not to rub it in. The only video I watch on the Hudson was by Mac and he liked it. The only video I found of the P210 American was not very helpful with my decision. I am a member on Sigtalk but there are not very many posts about it.

Anyways both of them felt really good in the hand and the Sig had a slightly better trigger. The way I have been reasoning with myself is that the Sig would be a true range gun while a Hudson could potentially be a carry gun. Also the Sig was selling for $1340 while the Hudson was $1200 so not that much of a price difference. I plan to shoot the Hudson tomorrow in hopes that it will stay my decision one way or another. Decisions decisions.

Sig P210 Target. With malfunction issues, you wouldn’t want to bet your life on the H9 if you carry it, until they sort out any bugs.
