      Yep, me too.

That 17 oz .357 ought to be snappy.

I like my LCRx in 38SPL. +P rounds are pretty manageable. One of my usual carry guns.

I like the idea of a 9mm revolver except the moon clips idea

Why would you want an exposed hammer on a pocket carry gun?

I agree. I wanted a 9mm LCR but couldn't stand the moon clips. Went with the 38 special +P instead.

Screws up the trigger pull on LCRs as well. But a hammerless 3" with the Pachy Diamond Pro or G10's would make a nice handy gun.

I agree, I wouldn't. That is why all my 1.87" LCR are hammerless. On the other hand, a 3" or 4" is more of a pack/trail gun and for those a hammer is nice. I have a 3" LCRx in 38SPC and it is a great, lightweight trail gun.

As for the moon clips, it turns out to be the best feature of all. Reloads are extremely quick. Unloading and loading can be done without even looking. All your spare ammo can be carried in another pocket nice and neat.

And per the user manual, using the moon clips is optional in the 9mm LCR. If you don't run them, you just have to knock your shells out some other way.

For me the moon clips make the LCR9 better.
                        Much faster loads and reloads.

Moon clips suck on a carry gun. Even if you can manage to carry spare clips in your pocket with them printing like a mofo, the chances of bending them are high.

Bent moon clips are definitely a possibility with .38 Spec, .357 Mag or .45 ACP.
9mm rounds are compact with only 5 rounds per clip for the LCR9
There are multiple methods for storing 9mm moon clips to keep them stable to
avoid bending or printing, but that's just me.
No self defense firearm is perfect for everyone, and to each his own.
