They're quite impressive; saw a bunch at their booth at SHOT 2 years ago.

    Not on the Roster, though.

Yeah, as high-end as the Cabot guns are, I can't get past the logos, slide serrations and the stars in the trigger. Just a little too over-the-top for my taste.

That is my dream. I was almost ready to get it-my son live in Baltimore. End up getting something else.

I think a lot of their guns are ugly. But one of their cheapest is my favorite...http://cabotgun.com/better-than-cust...age-classic/#1

Although I'd swap out the trigger. Those stars are UGLY.

Agreed. Their roll mark is horrendous. And the stars on the trigger just look cheesy to me. But by all accounts, they're great guns. I certainly wouldn't kick one out of bed for eating crackers...or something like that.

Aside from the aesthetics of the logo and trigger, I'm curious how this gun would stack up next to a Wilson. I think that if Rob had anything to do with this build, at this price it might just be one of the better (best) offerings out there.

Rob is fantastic! I was a little sad to hear that he closed up Alchemy and went to Cabot. He worked on and massaged my Les Baer. As far as classic 1911 looks go, the LB is at the top of my list.

Yeah, I wish he was still around to work some magic on my LB. I cringe at the thought of sending it back to Les

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the stars in the trigger look stupid.

If I recall there have been three Cabot pistols for sale in the market place, two of them were a mirror set.

Yeah, I called Les on a bad day. Ran over 1k rounds and still had a lot of issues. I was so frustrated and after waiting over a year for the gun too. Sent it to Rob and he worked his magic on it. Now at 1k rounds post-Rob and no issues. Yeah, I know...need to hit the range more!
