    Dan Wesson Revolvers

Is there a specific reason why Dan Wesson revolvers as currently manufactured by CZ aren't on the CA roster? I know the obvious answer is "CZ hasn't submitted" but I'd presume with the fairly limited number of barrel options CZ could submit them all. Does anyone know for certain why the DW hasn't been submitted or if done, why it wouldn't pass?

CZ has kept the PM 7 and CBOB in production to sell in CA, I don't think they're unwilling to help.

They may feel is not worth the trouble. Kind of odd though, they should just submit one since you can change the barrels yourself.

Manufacturers commonly make poor decisions. Why didn't Colt keep paying the extortion to keep the 1911 in 38 Super on roster it was initially for maybe 5 years and it is a state where they could easily sell enough to make money.

They only make 1000 a year and they distribute those around the country. They need to submit a couple guns for testing. Those are lost sales in a limited run product. It sucks I know but the market for people buying $1000 revolvers is low and in the revolver world most people are going to stick with a known quantity that is Smith and Wesson.

Don't get wrong I'm with ya. I need to wait ten days and I get to pick up my new DW 715.

Colt upgraded all there tooling to CNC and the approved models were made with the old machining. The idiots in Sac then declare that because the guns were made with new machines they were different then the guns that were originally submitted.

They dropped those models off roster long before the new machining was introduced.

              at Slickguns (gun.deals)

RifleGear is selling 715 really cheap, can cover SAE $50.

When CZ will sell 744 again?

I used someone here a while back for an Anaconda, can't recall the name. Anyone have a suggestion who to use for SAE?
