Well I got a new LCP II, thought I'd pass on a short range report.
I've had an original LCP for a number of years now, love it.
Today I ran 100+ rounds of Win White Box 380 through it.
For me, the sites are hard to see, my eyes not so good any more for the arms reach distance against a target background, the rear/front is almost indistinguishable, so I had to condition myself for that, took a mag or two for that. The trigger is much improved, I really like that. It locks back on last round now, which is nice. Overall I like the way it shoots. One problem I had is EVERY mag full (loaded at 6, rack slide, leaving 5) of WWB it fired the first chambered round then the next round did not chamber completely, I'd remove mag and round, load round back into mag, load it up, rack the slide and it fired fine for the remaining rounds. It did the same thing using my original LCP mags too. It did NOT fail to chamber on my Hornady critical defense rounds from an original LCP mag, which I'm happy with. I'll have to grab all my LCP mags and a few diff ammo brands and go to the range again and see if it does the same on other 380 flavors.
I'm thinking of what I can do with the sites to help myself.
Any others have the same experience with the fail to feed?
