10 Round Mag for my Springfield TRP

I was leaning towards the CMC Mags but will consider WC as well

Has anyone good results with CMC 10Rd Mags
I see they list a Power Mag 10Rd and a Power + 10Rd not sure what the difference is in the two

    Thanks Tim

I have a Tripp Research 10 round in 45 ACP, it runs fine.

For a 1911 45 ACP, I still prefer the 8 round magazines. The 10 round 45 ACP 1911 magazines stick out too far for just 2 additional rounds IMO.

For 8 round 45 ACP 1911 magazines, I stick with WC and CMC.
For 10 round 9mm 1911 magazines, I stick with WC and Tripp.
    YMMV

I like my Wilson 10rnd, will sometimes lock open after 2 shots but I think it was ammo related.

I've tried the CMC power mags and WC mags with success in a Springfield, Colt and Baer. Dunno the difference between the 2 different CMC power mags though.

Besides the two mags from Springfield (MetalForm or Mec-Gar?), I've had no issues using the 10Rd Power Mag+ from CMC. Scored a 3-pack on eBay and no issues so far with my TRP.

The difference between standard Power Mag and a Power Mag+ is the follower. With the Power Mag+, the follower won't bang itself onto the receiver. Not an issue with steel frames just like the TRP but damaging for aluminum frames.

I've been using the 10 round chip McCormick RPM mags in my mc operator with great results.

Brownells has a $5 off $25 and free shipping deal today if you want to buy one and try it out.

Go with the Wilson mags. I have 4 - 10 round mags used for local matches, never ever a problem.I have used Wilson mags, 8 rds and 10 rds in all of my 1911 (6) with out any issues. CP mags have banged up my receiver, and have had failures to lock back slides. Just cannot go wrong with proven Wilson mags.

Not positive because I believe I have the regular power mag only, I believe the follower on the Plus is different so it doesn't tip forward on the last round and ding the receiver.
