I've got a pair of VZ Grips (Frag Palm Swell) on my SP-01. Always enjoyed VZ's but recently these grips from Armory Craft caught my eye. Anyone have any experience with them? Pros and cons? Just looking for some feedback before I drop $100 on them.

They look like the factory Al grips that come on the Shadow 2s (similar style) although the ones linked to are the "short grips" to work with a magwell.
They feel pretty good, are grippy and solid, but the finish will mar when you bump into stuff. Also, cause they're Al, they'll transmit heat/cold so they might not feel too great if you're on the line and it's +100* heat.

If you believe in Liberty, you should believe it for everyone, not simply those whom you agree with. -
Entirely personal preference. Aluminum grips get colder and hotter than g10/micarta/wood. They also tend to have no middle ground in texture, either too sharp or too soft. Aluminum is rugged and can be a narrower fit than other options. VZ or LOK grips have worked best for me.Comment

They are factory CZUB grips, imported by ArmoryCraft. I have a full size set in titanium (slight bluish hue) on one of my SP-01s, and a compact size set in black for my P-01 (shown below). I will likely be ordering another set, probably in red, for my SP-01 SAO conversion, that I just sent off for hard chroming.
Personally, I really like them. The strike a nice balance between the CZ Custom cheesegraters I used to have (I guess I have sensitive girly hands), and the thin aluminum skateboard tape ones that I felt didn't have enough overall texture.

This is one of my main questions, I also have sensitive hands. LolComment

Out of all the aluminum grips for the CZ, I like these the best. It is not too sharp to hurt your hand and gives much better grip than the smooth aluminum grips with the sandpaper inserts. Looks the best on the CZ too. Go for it. You will not be disappointed.Comment

Too thin for my liking. I prefer the Double Alpha thick grips for aluminum.Vive La Exile Machine!!
