    New Ruger P345

In my current quest to enjoy life more, I bought my oldest son and I matching Ruger P345's. I also "re-upped" at the local indoor range. The P345 is quite a gun and a very good value. I shot one in OK City last year and was quite impressed. Mine is at least as good. I tested it out at the indoor range, and kept every round center mass. The recoil level is surprisingly low, not much more than a 9mm. Double taps at 10 yards were all center mass.

For the money, I think this is the best .45 you will find.

I think that American Rifleman gave it gun or pistol or best new of the year or something like that.
With all the negatives that Ruger gets, I was surprised.
It made it to my list of ones to maybe get, but there are a few ahead of it, like getting a 1911 type as my first .45
