That can be tricky, I know a lot of places will only stipple a BHP do to the thinness of the front strap area. You will really have to shop around, and almost certainly have to ship it; and most likely to an out of state shop.
I know I had looked into this a few years ago and it just didn't seem to pan out. I believe at the time I had settled on Novak doing the work (stipple) as I could no longer find anyone willing to do the checkering.
Good luck though! -
Bhp checkering
With serial number placed smack in the middle of frontstrap, I've yet to see anything, be it checkering or stippling that I find appealing enough to warrant the cost of modification.Comment

If the front strap or your Hi-Power is too thin for 30 LPI I suggest a checkered front strap insert silver soldered then have it refinished.

Nighthawk also does work on customer guns, and for the BHP uses what looks to be a wood-grain-like stippling that is applied to the front / rear strap and slide top.
I'm sure aesthetically it's not for everyone, but it is another option. Apologies for the ginormity of the photo.

The example in the picture is a FN HP, not a BHP, and has its serial number elsewhere on the frame instead of the front strap. They may or may not do the work based on this.Originally posted by WingDingsUpdate: Think I found my guy.
