What would be a going price on an unfired /as new 2015 California approved Wilson Combat Classic Supergrade .45. Everything it came with from the factory and in 100% like new condition . Basic Supergrade without any extra options. Still considered a used gun though , since it was sold retail in 2015.

2015 Wilson Combat Classic Supergrade .45

They sell new for $5200 at my LGS, 'on sale'. And 2015 vs 2017 doesn't matter because the Wilsons, like every other semi auto, have been stuck in time since the roster.
I don't know if you are looking to buy or sell, but be advised that because of the roster, the CA Supergrade needs a ton of parts replaced to be the same as the free state Supergrades. One guy bought a CA Supergrade and spent $2600 to send it back to Wilson to un-CA the thing and bring it to current specs. He may have also got a few other mods for that money.
So if I was looking to spend $5k, I would sure do whatever it took to get a free state Supergrade. Because almost every single part on the gun is now from their 'Bulletproof' lineup, all CNC from billet steel and not MIM like the CA gun. Nothing wrong with MIM I guess if you aren't jumping from airplanes with it, but why spend $5200 for a gun that is stuck in time?
PS - I know a guy who last week just bought a CA Supergrade Tactical, new old stock from dealer inventory, for $3300.Last edited by SkyHawk; 11-08-2017, 9:30 AM.Comment

I would think you could get retail, or pretty close to it, since the buyer would be saving some serious money on tax.my Benitez goes to 11Comment

Sorry for my ignorance, but since you seem to have done this research, what are the CA specific parts that nerd to be replaced to restore original free state config?Hobbies: bla, bla, bla... Bought a Mosin Nagant... Guns, Guns, Guns...Comment

Yes, as Simon noted, almost everything. Here is what my guess would be:
ejector, grip safety, thumb safety, mag release, mag well, extractor, firing pin, firing pin stop, maybe the sear, slide release, disconnector, hammer, hammer strut, recoil spring plug, guide rod, recoil spring might be flatwire now too.
And these were not CA specific parts at the time. Originally they were the same as every state Supergrade. They became CA specific though, as Wilson moved on to putting better parts in their guns but could not do it for CA guns.Last edited by SkyHawk; 11-08-2017, 11:40 AM.Comment

Do all that work and it will be a tremendous gun & a good sum of money, at that point I would think better off keeping the gun rather than trying to recoup the investment.Yes, as Simon noted, almost everything. Here is what my guess would be:

True, that is the hard part of the sale - why pay 5k for a semi custom when you can get a full house gun for that price. The only real answer is impatience imho

Are you buying, selling, or just kicking tires? What would be a going price on an unfired /as new 2015 California approved Wilson Combat Classic Supergrade .45. If you are a seller, I would imagine at 4k it would fly out of the safe. If you are a buyer, 4.3k would seem reasonable. Since they don't come up very often it may take a while to find one."The Wizard will fix everything" ~ DorothyComment
