I have an HK 45 USP full size with a stainless slide that I about never shoot. I am thinking about selling it to a friend who is interested, but I am trying to come with a fair price. Any input is greatly appreciated!

$650 is very fair to a friend IMO. The stainless slide is highly sought after, selling on Calguns I'd probably say $750 and it'll sell.Comment

If it's a true stainless version with the two tone slide and frame then depending you can easily get 750-800 bucks for it.
A regular NIB USP 45 is 800-850, used 650-750 depending on condition.
But the stainless slide model is rarer I think it's not on the list either. So used you can get almost as much for a NIB regular all black model.
Since it's a buddy I don't know if you want to give him a deal.Comment

Check summit gun broker. They have police trade in's for $565 or something like that. I've purchased from him before, reliable and high quality stuff, not used up junk.sigpic
George Washington didn't use the 1st amendment to defeat the British...he shot them.

Yeah, right..........
Remember guy's, he is talking about the full size Stainless in .45. When were those ever issued to police? They are actually quite rare especially here in CA, and they are off list as well. The full size Stainless models are no longer being imported, and few were imported when they were. The compact ones in Stainless are easier to come by. Black ones are comparatively "a dime a dozen". The reality is that you will be hard pressed to find one under $800.00 if you can find one at all. I think one priced at $850.00 would not last more than a weeks time, even in this economy.
Here's one that sold right away at $850.00 more than a year ago! http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ad.php?t=82115
Also, here is a Calguns thread discussing their rarity: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ad.php?t=45253Originally posted by ViPER395Surrender yourself and your vessel..........Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.

Good info, thank you! I was almost going to let it go to my friend.. I think I may have him look into another gun as I might get some serious cash for this one if I decide to let it go! Thanks again!Last edited by MMA Ryan; 06-04-2009, 4:21 PM.Comment
