    Nighthawk Kestrel

The Kestrel is a masterpiece to behold with great ergonomics and eye appeal. It has a thinned down front strap, flat mainspring housing, and thin grips, which give this pistol a great feel. The moonhawk behind the rear cocking serrations create a clean sl

Wait, you just called a 1911 "super, duper cool". What are your "block" fan bois going to say when they find out you like 1911's.

Given the "Nighthawk" branding, this is a far more likely association with the word "kestrel"....

I’d hit it. They do know how to do a slide. Bare. With minimal logo behind serrations.

Very nice. I would take a stainless one in 9mm if I come across one. They will get here eventually.

He found out that $3000+ 1911's really are fun to shoot. Can't argue with that. A glock is a good carpenters hammer, a Nighthawk is as fine as a handmade pocketwatch.

                          No they don't!

One of the most awkward things about my GRP is just how gigantic the lettering is.

I really like our GRP Recon; it is one of the finest 1911's I have ever used. I'm sure that anything they are producing will be of the utmost quality.
I don't mind the large "GRP" emblem on the slide.
Can't wait to get the Talon.

Was only referring to the firearm the thread was created over. And yes- the GRP slide is pretty damn ugly.
