Sig 229

Am picking up my Sig 229 (no rail) in 357 Sig next week and wondering what experience anyone has with the SRT trigger kit. Also bought from "Grey Guns" a spring kit and their curved trigger. Not that I expect any great difference, but has anyone installed these and can say they've added anything to the gun's "shoot-ability"? My shooting is mostly casual, I don't do anything like "three gun" because it makes me tend to spill my iced tea ....

I have the srt kit in all of my Sigs, makes a big/ good difference in my opinion. I have a 226 at Gray Guns now getting their trigger and trigger job in addition to the SRT.

I have the P226 Legion (for sale) and the gray guns trigger is amazing.

I went with the Grey Guns curved trigger over their straight. The straight didn't look particularly comfortable, highly angled between trigger face and finger.

Do you count on it for self defense? If not, forget all this trigger nonsense. It only affects the double action pull, and if you're just shooting recreationally it's probably mostly single action.

The srt trigger kit makes a huge difference, especially on follow up shots. . I highly recommend it.
