RMR on Glock 34

I would like to install a RMR on a Glock 34. Send slide off to have RMR milling or buy a new Glock 34 slide with RMR cut?? I have seen Brownells selling slides with RMR cut but ONLY for 17 or 19, not the 34.
Best options??

Some will argue rear sight adapters aren't the way to go because of how high the optic sits. Something having to do with aiming accuracy compared to when it sits lower

Sort of agree, but might just be a matter of practice. I added a strike industries rear RMR adapter to my G34 and YES, the sight sits much higher so when bringing the gun up to aim ... it's weird. But you can get used to it.

Unlike iron sights and slide-cut RMRs, which lets you bring the gun up to where you'd think the sights should be, you have to bring the gun up not quite as high, which is weird.

imo, wetwerks is garbage, similar to salient, built for looks but substandard machining.

my recommendations would be boresight solutions. they did my 35.

my other rmr glocks were done by zevtech but they replaced the slide and were much, much more expensive.

Try and find a decently priced G34 MOS in the marketplace.

I’d find one and shoot beforehand though. RMR’s aren’t for everybody and take some getting used to.

Strike industries sight adapter works great if you don't want to change the slide forever. Cutting the slide should only cost you ~$150 (Battlewerx) - thats with cut and re-coating so you don't have bare metal. A new slide is going to run you at least $400. I kept my 34 slide intact and decided a half measure was't worth it, all or nothing, so I built a custom g17 slide. Now I have two guns for the price of 2 that share one frame
