Hello everybody,hope you all had a great weekend.
I just DROSed a new to me Colt Defender, as per my usual routine of buying a used handgun I ordered new recoil springs from Wolff.
From what I can tell online I need to decompress the inner spring on the spring guide rod and remove an e clip to take off spring plate.
Any advise on this procedure from anyone with experience?
Should I install a new e clip?
From what I found online they are 5/32 and can be purchased at Lowes or HD
